Adding the Office 365 Cloud Provider

Storage Made Easy is able to let your Office 365 account be used as a file cloud from the Storage Made Easy Open Cloud Platform. This means you can easily manage and access your Office 365 data from desktop and mobile clients.
1
Step 1: Choosing Office 365
The first step is to choose to add Office 365 to your Storage Made Easy Account either  as a first step on activation or later from My DashBoard which is accessible from the right sidebar after login to the website.
2
Step 2: Authorising Access
You need to authorise Storage Made Easy to access your Office 365 account. To do this you need to enter your account username and password. Storage Made Easy uses this information to ask for access to your Office 365 account on demand. All authentication data is stored encrypted, with the encryption key being stored in a separate key server for security.

Step 3: Cloud Meta Sync
You can choose to sync in the background or just to start synchronisation. The differences of each are:

1. Foreground - this uses the browser to do the meta-sync and if the browser hangs or you exit it will stop. If you have a small amount of flies (under a few thousand) then this is fairly quick
2. BackGround - this is run as a scheduled Cloud task and occurs within a minute. You will be taken to a page where again you can monitor progress but if you exit it will continue.
4
Step 4: Sync completed
Once the sync has completed you will be able to work with your files with the web file managers or the other desktop or mobile clients.

SME will show all the files returned by Office365. The Team Site document folder is mapped to TeamSite/Documents

Note!
Storage Made Easy shows all the files that are in the TeamSite directory from your Office365 Account. If you add another workspace this will be shown also as a folder and it's hierarchy will be visible and accessible when you enter it.
